A message from FLY’s Executive Director:
Like many educational organizations and institutions, FLY experienced substantial change during the COVID pandemic. From the start of the pandemic in March 2020, FLY’s online student audience grew from 1,300 students to almost 3,000 from across the United States.
As schools reopened, and as students had more opportunities to learn in-person, FLY’s online program decreased 90% within a 6-month period. At the end of June 2022, FLY’s leadership team decided to temporarily pause FLY’s online program until further notice and refund any families who had pre-registered for Fall 2022 classes.
Since 2022, FLY has continued its full-day in-person program within partner schools. For the 2024-2025 school year, FLY will be expanding its previous K-5 offering to also now include grades 8-12. If you are interested in bringing FLY to your school, where students can learn during the regular school day, please visit https://www.foreignlanguageforyouth.org/get-involved/partner/schools/.

We truly appreciate the wonderful feedback on the FLY program, and the many “thank yous” from parents and partners on the education FLY delivers to students.
Sincerely,
